Las Cafeteras Music Video

Las Cafeteras is an Afro-Mexican American music group based and born east of the Los Angeles river. They use many traditional Son Jarocho instruments while telling modern stories and mixing rock, hip-hop, and rancheras sound in both English and Spanish.

This music video is for their first single La Bamba Rebelde off their album It’s Time. Filmed in and around Los Angeles; I was one of the main camera man tasked with capturing their essence with them as we walked around LA, playing music along the way. I captured footage of their authenticity and of them interacting with their communities all the way to their house party.
